The UK version of start-page was developed as a standard on which an American edition could be economically and quickly created. You will see if you look at the UK edition that for each topic the UK entries are in a table followed y USA entries followed by others. Therefore for most classifications it is only a mater of slight reordering of blocks of data that is required. From this you will see that the production of a USA version of start-page will not present any difficulty.
It is planned that this will be directly accessed from start-page.org (this system) and the current home page of this system will be the top choice on the friendly system menus.
We have not set a timescale for the USA edition, concentrating on getting the UK version right first.
We will need a number of extra editors interested in the American marketplace, and in many professions and local areas.
